UNCASVILLE, CT. (WISH) — Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham took a serious fall in the second quarter of Sunday’s game against the Connecticut Sun.
Cunningham was seen falling down to her back and grabbing her right leg. While she was yelling in pain, the Fever gathered around her.
She was seen being carried off the court.
The Fever released an update saying, “Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham sustained a right knee injury…” They confirmed that Cunningham will be out for the rest of the game.
