INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person was shot and killed early Sunday morning on the near northeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officers were called at 2:43 a.m. to a shooting at The Grounds, an apartment complex near Central Avenue and 22nd Street.
One male was found shot on the fourth floor, suffering from a gunshot wound; police say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD did not release the identity of the person who died.
Investigators say there was a party at the location before the shooting happened.
