Shooting at Indianapolis gas station leaves 2 injured

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — One person was critical wounded and another was stable after a shooting Tuesday at a West 16th Street gas station just west of the White River, police said.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was sent about 1:46 p.m. Tuesday to a report of a person shot to the Amoco gas station, 2411 W. 16th St. That’s at the southwest corner of 16th and Tremont streets.

The person in critical condition was taken to a hospital, and the person who was stable had showed up an area hospital with gunshot wounds, police said.

IMPD did not provide any additional details on what may have led to the shooting, the people shot, possible suspects, or any apprehensions.
