INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We got to enjoy a much more tolerable day under cloudy skies. The next and final step to take toward enjoying full on fall-like air occurs later this weekend.
Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy and mild tonight with lows in the mid 60s.
Thursday: We’re expecting more sunshine for Thursday with temperatures set to be slightly below normal. Highs will top out in the low 80s.
Friday: A seasonable day is ahead to end the workweek on Friday. Highs will rise into the low to mid 80s with plenty of sunshine to go around. For the return of high school football’s The zone Friday evening, it will be warm and mostly clear.
7-Day Forecast: This weekend features a second cold front that will pass through going into Sunday. After the front passes through, we’re in for a magnificent stretch of fall-like air starting Sunday and carrying into next week. Temperatures will only rise into the low to mid 70s in the afternoons with morning lows falling into the 50s. Some areas may even drop into the 40s! The average first night of a 50 degree low or cooler in Indy is Sep. 6th to note.
