Mon evening forecast – Aug 11, 2025
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Today marks our 24th 90 degree in Indy this year. We’re looking to possibly add more after a very minor cooldown into midweek with some rain/storm chances.
Monday night: Warm and mostly clear with lows in the low 70s.
Tuesday: Spotty to scattered showers and storms possible in the daytime and nighttime hours. Best chance for activity will be northwest of Indy.
Areas in northern Indiana also have potential for isolated strong to severe storms with damaging wind the primary concern.
Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Peak heat index values to be in the mid to upper 90s for those who don’t see as much rain and cloud cover.
Wednesday: Spotty shower/storm chance remains in play Wednesday with temperatures expected to be a touch cooler, but still warm. Highs in the upper 80s.
7-Day Forecast: A renewed buildup of high pressure with drag into our region from the southeast. This sets the stage for potential of another slate of 90s into this weekend. Compared to this past weekend, heat indices could be worse with feels like temps nearing triple digits. We’ll fine tune the forecast as we get closer, but just know that the heat and humidity is not going away anytime soon.
