INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Sam’s Club members will have to pay a little bit more for their annual membership beginning in May.
The Walmart-owned wholesale club announced the price hike in an email to members, saying, “This update helps us continue delivering unbeatable value and exceptional shopping experiences while investing in an ever-expanding set of member benefits.”
Starting May 1, the price of a Club membership will change from $50 to $60 per year, while the price of a Plus membership will go from $110 to $120 per year.
Sam’s Club says Plus members will see an increased 2% Sam’s Cash rewards cap, from $500 to $750 per year.
Members do not need to make any changes to their accounts. Memberships will renew at the updated price during the next billing cycle.
Sam’s Club has 13 warehouses in Indiana, including locations in Columbus, Greenwood, Lafayette, Indianapolis, Kokomo, and Terre Haute.
