INDIANAPOLIS — A person died Sunday afternoon in a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on the city’s southeast side, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said.
Officers were sent about 2:13 p.m. Sunday to a collision in the 6600 block of South Arlington Avenue.
The person died at the scene. The identity, gender and age of the deceased has not yet been released.
According to investigators, the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperating with the authorities. IMPD crash investigators were working to determine the cause of the accident.
A department public information officer was not responding to the scene so it was unclear when additional information may be available.
