INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A person died after found shot Tuesday night in a parking lot in a commercial area on the city’s northwest side, police say.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to reports of shots fired and a person shot at 9:55 p.m. Tuesday for an address in the 5400 block of West 81st Street. The address is listed online as a UPS logistics facility. It’s about three-quarters of a mile southeast of the I-465 interchange for West 86th Street.
Initially, police had said the person shot was in critical condition, but announced at 11 p.m. Friday that the person had died at a hospital.
Police did not immediately share any additional information.
