INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office says a missing 16-year-old boy from Franklin was last seen in Missouri and may be traveling with another teenager.
William “Sawyer” Oswalt was last seen Tuesday in Myrtle, Missouri, which is about 440 miles southwest of Indianapolis near the Arkansas state line.
Oswalt was described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 180 pounds with sandy brown hair, brown eyes, and a small scar beneath his left eye.
Investigators believe Oswalt may be traveling along Highway 93 in Arkansas with a 16-year-old Black male who’s 6 feet tall and roughly 175 pounds.
Family members say Oswalt requires prescription medication and may experience severe medical issues without it.
Anyone with information on Oswalt’s whereabouts should call local police or 911.
