INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — IMPD says they found a man shot dead at a near northeast side apartment complex early Tuesday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 4100 block of Meadows Lane around 5:18 a.m. to investigate a person shot.
That address is in the West Village of Avondale Apartments just south of 42nd Street and North Sherman Drive.
There, police found a man suffering a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
IMPD did not say what led up to the shooting. A person has been detained but no arrests have been made.
