INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A man was critically injured Saturday in a shooting on the city’s east side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
At 6:45 p.m. Saturday, IMPD East District officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 3700 block of North Mitthoefer Road, near East 38th Street. That is the location of the Raintree Plaza Shopping Center. Officers arrived and found a man with gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators did not immediately provide any additional information on this incident.
