INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Adding to a long list of juvenile-involved crimes that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are cracking down on, police say they’ve arrested another teenager for drugs and guns.
IMPD says that a detective was on patrol in 600 block of Eugene Street, on the near northwest side of Indianapolis, when they saw a “known juvenile” to police.
That detective reports that the juvenile had a gun tucked into this waistband and entered a vehicle with two other people.
That detective pulled the vehicle over and found two guns on the juvenile — an AR-style pistol and a handgun. IMPD reports officers also found 185 grams of marijuana and a scale.
The 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for “possession of a firearm by dangerous individual and possession of marijuana with intent to deal.”
