INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis Public Schools is inviting families and caregivers to the 2025 Parent Engagement Conference.
According to a news release, the Parent Engagement Conference is a free, one-day event designed to empower parents with practical tools, expert guidance, and the opportunity to shape how IPS supports students and the broader community.
The conference will take place Friday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Butler University South Campus, and is open to all IPS parents and caregivers, offering a welcoming space to connect, learn, and grow together.
Event Highlights
- Expert-led breakout sessions on key family-centered topics:
- Improving student attendance.
- Behavior strategies at home.
- Understanding special education law and parent rights.
- Mental health and communication tips.
- Opening remarks from leaders at IPS and Butler University.
- Closing Q&A lunch session with IPS leadership who will share feedback and ideas in real-time.
- Free, on-site child care for conference attendees.
- Boxed lunch provided during the closing session.
Space is limited. Families are encourages to register early to secure their spot and child care accommodations.
