Indianapolis Indians to host T.J. McConnell Night

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indianapolis Indians are hosting Indiana Pacers fan favorite T.J. McConnell for 4 Night on Wednesday, Aug. 27.

The Indiana Pacers player will sign autographs before the game, from 5:30-6:10 p.m. He will also throw the ceremonial first pitch.

Throughout the game, there will be McConnell themed in-game entertainment as well.

First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. against the Buffalo Bison.

McConnell helped lead the Pacers to their first NBA Finals appearance since 2000 this year.

McConnell averaged 9.1 points and 4.4 assists per game in the 2024-25 season. It was his second highest scoring average of his career.

In the Pacers run to the NBA Finals, McConnell averaged 9.5 points and 4.0 assists per game.

McConnell and the Pacers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in their season opener in a rematch of the 2025 NBA Finals on Thursday, Oct. 23. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
