No Name Salsa and Reebee’s Hives
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Rebecca Dobbins, a local entrepreneur, brings her unique salsa and honey products to the Franklin and Bargersville Farmers Markets, showcasing her family’s recipes and award-winning honey.
Dobbins’ business, called No Name Salsa, has expanded from the Greenwood Farmers Market to several locations, including Franklin and Bargersville. Her offerings include fresh tortilla chips and a variety of salsa flavors to cater to different spice preferences.
“It’s my husband’s family recipe and he’s been making that and we’ve added on to it,” Dobbins said.
In addition to No Name Salsa, Rebecca has ventured into beekeeping, a passion she has pursued for several years. She currently manages 17 beehives as a new venture called ReeBee’s Hives.
Her honey has gained recognition, winning grand champion at the Johnson County Fair and best of show at the Indiana State Fair. Rebecca’s honey is available in limited quantities at the farmers markets due to weather challenges affecting her bees.
Alongside honey, she offers beeswax, which customers use for making lip balm, salves, and candles.
Rebecca is also developing a “food forest” on her property, planting a variety of edible plants, berries, and fruit trees. Her goal is to create a sustainable environment where she can harvest food throughout the year, benefiting both her family and local pollinators.
