INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Motorists on the northeast side of Indianapolis will see the southbound I-69 ramp to southbound I-465 closed during the weekend.
Depending on weather conditions, the ramp will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, July 21 at 6 a.m. as part of the Clear Path 465 corridor project.
Also to be closed at the same time:
- The East 82nd Street ramp to southbound I-465.
- The right lane of I-465 eastbound/southbound from the main interchange to East 56th Street.
The $471 million project that began in early 2022 was designed to improve the I-465 and I-69 interchange.
Indiana Department of Transportation warned drivers to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time, especially during overnight hours, as the schedule may change due to inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances.
The Clear Path 465 project is expected to be completed by year’s end.
