INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Another warm and humid afternoon on top across much of the state. We will see just a slight chance for an isolated shower possible. It remains warm and humid throughout the weekend.
TODAY: There’s a slight chance for a little bit of patchy fog early this morning otherwise we’ll look for partly cloudy conditions. Lots of sunshine throughout the afternoon. It will be warm and humid once again. High temperatures climbing into the upper ’80s with light winds. Humidity values will make it feel much more uncomfortable for the afternoon. Most locations will be dry but there is a very slight chance we could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm develop this afternoon.
TONIGHT: If you are heading to the Indians game tonight first pitch should be dry with temperatures into the upper ’80s. It will be mild and muggy overnight with temperatures dropping into the upper ’60s near 70.
TOMORROW: Another hot and humid day on your Friday. Mostly sunny skies expected. Temperatures will climb right around the 90 degree mark for the afternoon. There’s a slightly better chance we could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm but again most locations will be dry.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: better rain chances arrive for the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible throughout the afternoon on Saturday as a cold front works across the state. High temperatures will be into the upper ’80s. It will be incredibly humid across much of the state. Mid ’80s expected on Sunday still humid with a chance for a few showers or thunderstorms.
The typical July-like pattern will continue for much of next week. High temperatures will be into the upper ’80s with a scattered shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. No relief at night either, we will see temperatures into the upper 60s near 70.
