FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — A man faces several felony charges after child pornography was found on devices in his home, according to the Fort Wayne Police Department.
Richard Konger, 61, was arrested and taken to the Allen County Jail on Tuesday.
On March 21, FWPD received a complaint about child pornography possession from the Internet Crime Complaint Center for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
A detective identified Konger, a Fort Wayne resident, as a suspect.
The detective carried out a search warrant on Konger’s home May 8. According to a release, child pornography was found on several devices that were taken for evidence. The detective says he also found Konger soliciting children online for sex.
On May 20, Konger was arrested for several preliminary charges:
- Possession of child pornography (4 counts)
- Child exploitation (2 counts)
- Child solicitation (2 counts)
- Inappropriate communication with a child (2 counts)
As of Wednesday, Konger was being held at the Allen County Jail on an $80,000 bond.
