INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Indiana Fever signed guard Kyra Lambert to a seven-day contract on Thursday.
Lambert has played overseas for all of her professional career. She most recently played with Olympiacos in Greece, where she helped lead the team to the title in the Greek A1 League. She averaged 15.4 points and 6.3 assists per game that season.
Lambert has also played in France, Latvia, New Zealand, Slovakia, and Turkey.
In college, Lambert played for Duke and Texas.
The Fever were able to sign Lambert due to season ending injuries to guard Sydney Colson and guard Aari McDonald.
The Fever return to action on Friday at home against the Washington Mystics. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
