FBI to interview Flora residents again as part of fatal 2016 arson investigation

FLORA, Ind. (WISH) — The Federal Bureau of Investigation will begin interviewing Flora residents once again as part of the ongoing investigation into a 2016 arson that killed four young girls.

The fire happened in the early hours of Nov. 21, 2016.

Gaylin Rose was the only survivor of the arson attack that claimed the lives of her daughters: Keyana Davis, 11; Keyara Phillips, 9; Kerriele McDonald, 7; and Kionnie Welch, 5.

Since then, no arrests have been made, and Rose is continuing the fight for answers.

The FBI will be speaking with those in and around Flora again starting Monday. The agency says even if residents have already been interviewed, every little bit matters.

“If you have already been interviewed or believe the information you are in possession of has already been provided, please share this again,” they said. “If you saw, heard, or were told anything at the time of the fire – or have been since – please come forward and allow us to evaluate your information.”

Anyone else with information was encouraged to submit a tip online through tips.fbi.gov or by calling 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324)
