Feb 27, 2026 morning forecast with Tara Hastings

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) –  The best day of the week will be today. Lots of sunshine, breezy conditions and high temperatures well above normal for this time of the year. We will see some changes heading into the weekend with rain and snow chances. Weather pattern changes for much of next week bringing rain and warmer temperatures across much of the Great Lakes.

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies today it will be incredibly mild. High temperatures climate to 63 degrees. We will look for winds to be a bit busy at times out of the South and Southwest; they may gust near 20 to 25 mph.

TONIGHT:  Mainly clear conditions throughout the evening hours. Partly cloudy skies overnight with low temperatures falling near 32.

TOMORROW: Saturday not bad with sunshine to start off the day. High temperatures will climb close to 57 degrees. There is a chance we could see if you rain showers late Saturday but it does not look like we will see significant amounts of precipitation.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: On Sunday we are tracking a storm system that will bring us a chance of some snow late. The exact timing and track of the system is still in question. However there is a chance that we could see some snow late Sunday into Monday. High temperatures on Sunday are right around 41 degrees.

Could see some slick spots for the Monday morning commute.

Temperatures continue to climb for much of next week with readings into the upper fifties and even lower sixties. However we will see several rain chances maybe even a few thunderstorms as well.
