INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Firefighters from across Johnson County are responding to a large fire in Franklin.
Crews from the Franklin Fire Department responded around 5 a.m. to Young’s Creek Apartments, a senior living apartment building at Compass Park, formerly the Indiana Masonic Home, on Red Skelton Circle. That’s just off of State Street, about 1 mile southwest of Franklin College.
The fire occurred in the part of the building under construction, according to a Facebook post by Franklin FD.
The fire department says all residents “are accounted for and safe.”
