Burglary suspects crash stolen vehicle into Noblesville gun store

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Noblesville police say burglary suspects were at large Friday morning after crashing a stolen vehicle into a downtown gun store.

The vehicle, recently reported stolen out of Marion County, crashed into the Hoosier Armory, 98 N. 10th St., around 4:45 a.m. Friday.

Noblesville Police Department officers originally responded to the scene to investigate a business alarm. There, they found the car abandoned outside the shop, the front doors smashed in.

Police quickly confirmed a burglary had taken place, but could not locate any suspects.

It was unclear if any guns or other items were stolen. Police say the store owner was performing an inventory and would determine the total amount taken.

This is the second time in a year that Hoosier Armory has been victim of a break-in.

Around 4 a.m. Sept. 22, suspects again crashed a vehicle into the store in a robbery attempt. Officers arrived and found the damaged vehicle outside the store’s front doors.

Police did not say if the suspects in the September robbery were located.
