INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A juvenile died Monday morning following a shooting on Indy’s northwest side, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Online police reports show officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West 39th Street around 7:53 a.m. to investigate a “call for help.”
That area is right off 38th Street and Michigan Road, just north of Crown Hill Cemetery.
There, they located the juvenile who had been shot. IMPD says medics rushed them to a hospital in critical condition. The juvenile, unfortunately, died sometime after arriving at the hospital.
IMPD did not say what may have led up to the shooting or if there were any suspects.
