INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The weekend will start of on a quiet note but more active weather returns Sunday and Sunday night.
FRIDAY EVENING/NIGHT:
Mostly clear during the evening with some clouds increasing overnight. A rogue shower or sprinkle is possible somewhere across Indiana. Lows should be in the upper 50s to lower 60s.

SATURDAY:
A pleasant summer day is on tap with a mix of sun & clouds and highs around 80. While there could be a few spotty showers, the overall rain chance remains quite low. Humidity levels will be reasonably low as well.

SATURDAY NIGHT:
Partly to mostly cloudy. Lows from the upper 50s to middle 60s.
SUNDAY:
Summer officially arrives at 4:24 AM with the solstice. It’s also Father’s Day. Clouds thicken and the odds of scattered rain & storms with heavy rain will increase mid to late afternoon and into the evening hours. Odds of stronger storms are higher to our west in IL and MO but a complex could rumble towards IN at some point later in the day or evening. There is currently a LEVEL 1 (out of 5) risk for some severe weather in place so stay tuned for updates.

LOOK AHEAD AT NEXT WEEK:
Monday & Tuesday should be pretty quiet and comfy with highs the 70s. Upper 70s to around 80 degree highs are a decent bet heading into the middle to end of next week. This is still a little bit below average for this time of year. Some spotty rain/storms could return by Wednesday.
