HAMMOND, Ind. (WISH) — The Hammond Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding a 6-month-old girl and the 31-year-old suspect she was last seen with.
Police described the victim, Devaeyah Lucas-Bell, as a Black female, 22 inches tall, and 16 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white shirt and brown pants.
The suspect, Deandry Sabbs, was described as a Black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, and 208 pounds with black and brown eyes. Investigators did not provide a clothing description, or say if the victim and suspect are related.
Lucas-Bell and Sabbs were last seen around 4:20 a.m. Thursday in Hammond, driving in a gray 4-door Nissan sedan with Illinois license plates.
Police believe Lucas-Bell is in extreme danger.
