INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A juvenile is dead and another juvenile is in critical condition after being shot on Indy’s south side Wednesday night.
According to a release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, at 9 p.m., officers responded to the area of Iowa Street and South Talbott Street on reports of two people shot.
That’s near Madison Avenue, off East Minnesota Street.
Police arrived to find two juveniles who had been shot. They were both taken to the hospital in critical condition.
One juvenile died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
Police say they do not have any information on a suspect, but say there is no threat to the community. Police ask anyone with information or video surveillance to come forward.
