FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WISH) — No arrests have been made after an older woman involved in a battery incident at a Tim Hortons died from her injuries.
The altercation reportedly happened around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday.
The Fort Wayne Police Department says its officers were dispatched to the Tim Hortons, 3975 Ice Way, after receiving a report of an “altercation involving a reported battery.”
The injured woman, who has not been identified, was unresponsive when officers arrived.
Medics immediately started life-saving measures, though the woman later died after arriving at a hospital.
Police have not said if there are any suspects, but said detectives are reviewing security camera footage and have interviewed witnesses.
They also did not specify if the altercation occurred inside or outside the store.
