Gloomy finish then sunny weekend ahead | Nov. 20, 2025

THURSDAY

A gray, dreary day with low clouds and leftover morning fog slowly lifting, then just a cool, cloudy afternoon. Highs land around the upper 40s to near 50, with a light south breeze around 5 mph. A stray sprinkle is possible late, but most of the day is simply damp and dull rather than truly rainy.

THURSDAY NIGHT

Clouds hold firm and it turns milder than recent nights, with lows only dipping to the upper 40s. A light southeast wind around 5 mph continues. Showers become likely toward the pre-dawn hours, and you may wake up to wet pavement and some reduced visibility for very early travel.

FRIDAY

A nasty, gloomy end to the workweek with periods of rain, especially morning into midday. Expect highs in the mid 50s, with a light northeast wind around 5 to 10 mph. Rain will be mainly light to moderate but fairly steady at times, bringing a good soaking and making for slower drives and soggy fields.

FRIDAY NIGHT

Rain remains likely through the evening, then gradually tapers toward and after midnight. Lows fall back to around 40, with a north northeast breeze near 5 to 10 mph. Roads stay wet and skies stay cloudy, but the trend through the night is toward lighter and more patchy showers.

SATURDAY

A much better feel as the system pulls away and drier air moves in. Skies turn mostly sunny, and highs recover into the low 50s, with a light north northeast wind around 5 to 10 mph. After the dreary stretch, this looks like a solid day for leaf cleanup, errands, and any outdoor catch-up.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Mostly clear and cool, with lows settling into the mid 30s and light, variable wind. The clear and calm setup lets heat escape, so colder pockets may dip a bit lower by daybreak; plan an extra layer for early Sunday plans.

SUNDAY

A very nice November day with plenty of sun and a milder feel. Highs reach the upper 50s, and wind stays light, becoming west southwest around 5 to 10 mph. It should be the pick day of the run for walks, games, and any outdoor plans you pushed off from Friday.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Partly cloudy and seasonably cool, lows near the upper 30s, a west southwest breeze around 5 mph becoming calm. Quiet weather closes the weekend with no major issues heading into Monday morning.

7 DAY FORECAST

The pattern brings a clear split between a gloomy, soggy finish to this week and a brighter, calmer weekend. Today and Friday feature clouds, fog, and a soaking rain, with totals up to around a half inch or a bit more by Friday night. High pressure then builds in for Saturday and Sunday, delivering mostly sunny skies and highs from the low 50s Saturday to the upper 50s Sunday, with cool but manageable nights in the 30s. Early next week, clouds increase again and another system brings rain chances Monday night into Tuesday, followed by a turn to cooler air heading toward Thanksgiving. Confidence is high in the dreary today, Friday window and in the sunny, pleasant weekend reset, and moderate on the exact timing and amounts with the next early-week rain.
