24th annual Tonic Ball coming this Friday

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Weekend plans? Listen to live music while helping to feed people in need across central Indiana on Friday as the 24th annual Tonic Ball makes it return to Fountain Square.

The Tonic Ball, presented by Eskenazi Health, will take over five venues in Fountain Square, with over 50 cover artists paying tribute to popular songs of the past.

Tonic Ball acts as the largest fundraiser for Second Helpings, an Indianapolis-based agency dedicated to “fighting hunger from all angles.”

Kate Grimm, production director and committee member with Tonic Ball, touted the event to News 8, saying the Ball has “a little something for everyone there.”

Tickets for Tonic Ball are $75. Grimm says one ticket covers the cost of 44 meals Second Helpings will provide.
