Sept. 27 | Evening Forecast with Meteorologist Drew Narsutis
TONIGHT

Mostly clear and calm; lows settle near the low 60s with a light northeast breeze around 5 mph. Patchy fog may form toward daybreak in low-lying spots, especially where winds go calm for a time.
TOMORROW

Bright sunshine and late-September warmth return; highs reach the upper 80s with light and variable breezes around 5 mph. Humidity stays in a manageable range, so it feels summery without the steam, and outdoor plans look excellent from morning through sunset.
TOMORROW NIGHT
Mostly clear and comfortably mild; lows dip to around 60 with a light northeast wind near 5 mph. A little pre-dawn fog is possible again in valleys and along waterways, otherwise a quiet night.
MONDAY
Dry and unseasonably warm continues; look for plenty of sun with highs in the mid 80s and an east-northeast breeze around 5 to 10 mph. Air quality and visibility remain good, and fields, trails, and fairways will heat up quickly under full sun.
MONDAY NIGHT
Mostly clear and mild; lows hover near the low 60s with a light northeast breeze around 5 mph. The air stays quiet and dry overnight.
TUESDAY
A gentle step down in temperatures, still very pleasant; highs ease to the low 80s under sunny skies with a steady northeast breeze near 5 to 10 mph. Dry ground and low humidity keep the day feeling crisp for late September.
TUESDAY NIGHT
Partly cloudy and mild; lows hold in the low 60s with a light northeast wind near 5 mph. No rain expected.
WEDNESDAY
Seasonable to slightly warm with abundant sun; highs in the low 80s and a light east-northeast breeze around 5 mph. The dry stretch persists, and it remains great for outdoor practices and after-school plans.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT
Mostly clear and comfortable; lows slip into the upper 50s with light, variable breezes. A peaceful finish to the run, and still no meaningful rain signal.
7 DAY FORECAST

High pressure dominates through much of the week, keeping central Indiana dry and mostly sunny. Temperatures run unseasonably warm through Monday with highs in the 80s, then trend a bit cooler Tuesday through Thursday while staying a touch above normal. Nights are comfortably mild in the upper 50s to low 60s. Outside of patchy early-morning fog, impacts are minimal, and the overall theme is many more dry hours than wet ones.
