INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Actor and comedian Steve Martin has canceled two upcoming live shows after revealing that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
Martin made the announcement in a social media post Friday, calling off appearances in Virginia Beach and Richmond this weekend.
“I can’t possibly do the shows that you deserve,” Martin wrote on Instagram. “We will return under better circumstances.”
Martin then posted a photo of his positive test, writing, “Hey! No flu!”
The “Only Murders in the Building” star is scheduled to stop in Indianapolis with Martin Short for their “Dukes of Funnytown” tour on Oct. 25 at the Murat Theatre.
The Indianapolis date is unaffected. There are still 195 tickets available, starting at $131, as of Saturday afternoon.
