Sept 17, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Another sunny and warm day across much of the state. We will continue to be dry over the next several days with rain chances not coming in until late in the weekend and early next week. Temperatures remain well above normal for this time of the year.
TODAY: We will start off with lots of sunshine and continue to see sunny skies all day today. Temperatures will be into the upper 80s about 10 degrees above normal for this time of the year. We will continue to see humidity stay on the lower side for much of the afternoon. We do have some burn bans in place because of the dry conditions out there along with the low humidity values as well.


One other note we do have an air quality alert across much of the Central and Southern sections of Indiana. If you are prone and sensitive to breathing problems you may have some issues during the day today due to high levels of ozone.

TONIGHT: Look for mostly clear conditions tonight we will see low temperatures falling into the lower 60s.

TOMORROW: Another hot and sunny day for your Thursday. Look for mostly sunny skies with high temperatures close to 90 degrees. While we are going to be on the hot side it does not look like we’re going to see any kind of records being broken.



7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: More dry conditions on Friday under sunny skies. High temperatures right around 90. We will continue to see dry conditions for much of the weekend. Bartlett Gladys guys on Saturday with highs in the mid-80s. Rain chances do arrive late Sunday We also see some rain chances heading into early next week high temperatures will be into the lower 80s on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
