August 25, 2025 morning forecast with Tara Hastings
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A crisp start to the new work week. Temperatures will be below normal for the next several days. We’re going to look for dry conditions as well with this fall-like pattern in place for more than a week.
TODAY: Today we are waking up with temperatures into the ’50s in most spots. This is the coolest that we’ve been since early June. We are going to continue to see a bright day for much of the afternoon. A few clouds may move in later this afternoon into northern sections of Indiana but most spots across the state should stay sunny. High temperatures today will climb into the lower 70s. The normal high for this time of year is 84.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear conditions expected tonight. Low temperatures will fall into the lower ’50s. We will get awfully close to some record low temperatures. The first one being tonight. The record low for tonight is 48.
TOMORROW: Lots of sunshine expected on your Tuesday after a chilly start. We will continue to see temperatures into the ’70s. Another day below normal and very quiet under mostly sunny skies. Again temperatures in some spots may fall into the 40s tomorrow night which could get close to some record low temperatures across parts of the state.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Another crisp start to your Wednesday morning with readings in the upper 40s and lower ’50s. Look for lots of sunshine on your Wednesday with highs still below normal into the mid ’70s. This dry pattern is going to continue all week long. We will look for a few clouds on Thursday with high temperatures into the mid ’70s. A few clouds on Friday still dry conditions it looks like for those Friday night football games with high temperatures into the ’70s.
For the Labor Day holiday weekend it does look like we could see dry conditions all weekend long. We’re going to keep a close eye on some rain chances possibly Sunday into Monday. Long range computer models are not in agreement just yet. We are going to look for temperatures to continue to be below normal throughout the holiday weekend and into the first part of September.
