WISH-TV Media Producing Program returns for fall 2025
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV’s Media Producing Program was back in session on Tuesday night, aiming to increase diversity and qualifications in newsrooms.
The program teaches students how to produce a newscast and operate within a newsroom, providing them with essential skills for a career in media.
Kayla Allen, a student in the program, said, “I wanted to get my foot in the door when it comes to newscasts and media, and I felt like this would be a great opportunity to be involved with the community and show my personality as well.”
The class runs until December and is taught by News 8 Executive Producer Adam Krent, who brings his professional expertise to the curriculum.
