Nominate your favorite teachers for the Golden Apple Award
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — WISH-TV is Indiana’s education station, and each school year, the News 8 team honors exceptional teachers in central Indiana with the Golden Apple Award.
Teachers work tirelessly and shape students’ lives, often without recognition – and that’s why the Golden Apple Award exists!
Once a month from September through May, WISH-TV will surprise a central Indiana teacher with the Golden Apple Award. It comes with a trophy, a school supply shopping spree to Teachers’ Treasures and a video message from students and staff.
But we need YOUR help to find those teachers who deserve to be recognized, both for their everyday work and everything they do to go above and beyond the call of duty.
We encourage students, parents, and colleagues to nominate a teacher for their outstanding efforts in education by filling out the form here!
Nominees must be employed teachers (Pre-K through 12th grades) who work in following counties: Marion, Hamilton, Hancock, Shelby, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, Boone.
