INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A family of five is without a home after a fire burnt through a house on the south side of Indianapolis.
Saturday at 12:51 p.m., the Indianapolis Fire Department was called to 4418 Tarragon Drive for a house fire. Heavy smoke and fire was already burning through the roof of the home when firefighters arrived.
The two adults and three children who lived in the house managed to get out without any injuries.
Firefighters put out the blaze 25 minutes later, but not before the fire damaged the home.
IFD says the family is now displaced. IFD is helping the family with shelter.
