INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Colts Offensive tackle Blake Freeland was carted off in the first half with a fractured leg in the preseason game against the Packers on Saturday.
Freeland started the game in place of Bernhard Raimann, who suffered an ankle injury in the joint practice with the Packers on Thursday.
Freeland is in his third season with the Colts after being selected in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Other Colts to leave the game with injuries included rookie safety Hunter Wohler (foot), offensive tackle Braden Smith (groin), running back Tyler Goodson (elbow), rookie cornerback Jonathan Edwards (concussion), and linebacker Jacob Phillips (bicep).
In the joint practice with the Packers on Thursday, wide receiver Josh Downs left with a hamstring injury and defensive end Samson Ebukam left with a back injury.
The Colts were also without cornerback Kenny Moore II (knee), wide receiver Alec Pierce (groin), cornerback Jaylon Jones (hamstring), and cornerback JuJu Brents (hamstring) on Saturday.
