TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana State Police Putnamville District (ISP) investigators are assisting the Vigo County Sheriff’s Department with a death investigation involving a man who had drowned in Paint Mill Lake in southern Vigo County.
The Vigo County Sheriff’s Department requested ISP’s assistance on Friday. On Saturday, an autopsy was performed at Terre Haute Regional Hospital by the Vigo County Coroner’s Office. The man was identified as Tony Ingargiola, 47, of Cayuga, Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the Vigo County Coroner’s Office are assisting ISP and Vigo County investigators.
