INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Pacers regular season schedule for the 2025-26 season was officially released on Thursday.
It’ll be a rematch from the 2025 NBA Finals in the Pacers first game of the season. They host the Oklahoma City Thunder in the season opener on Thursday, Oct. 23.
Other notable games include:
- vs. Atlanta Hawks on Friday, Oct. 31. The Pacers host the Hawks in their first game of the NBA Cup. The Pacers made it to the championship in the first In-Season Tournament in 2023.
- vs. Milwaukee Bucks on Monday, Nov. 3. It’s the first game of the Pacers and Bucks rivalry of the season, and the first time Myles Turner will play the Pacers in the regular season as a Buck.
- at Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday, Nov. 21. It’s the first game in the series between the Pacers and the Cavs. The Pacers ended the Cavs season on the road in the Eastern Conference Semifinals last season, winning the series in 5 games.
- vs. New York Knicks on Thursday, Dec. 18. The Pacers and Knicks match up for the first time of the season. The Pacers have beaten the Knicks in the playoffs in each of the past two seasons (Eastern Conference Semifinals in 2024 and Eastern Conference Finals in 2025).
- vs. Detroit Pistons on Sunday, April 12. The Pacers close out the regular season at home against a Central Division opponent.
The Pacers made the NBA Finals for the first time since 2000 last season. They will be without star guard Tyrese Haliburton for the entirety of the 2025-26 season due to a torn Achilles.
