WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — The Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office was seeking the public’s help locating a 10-year-old boy with autism last seen late Sunday night.
In photos shared by the sheriff’s office, Gabriel Hurt appears to be a white male with brown-red hair. It was unclear what he was wearing when he disappeared.
Gabriel was last spotted wandering into a cornfield in the 7000 block of County Road 50 West. That’s just west of Interstate 65 near Burnett Creek and the Tippecanoe Township Volunteer Fire Department.
Investigators add that Gabriel is hearing impaired and on the autism spectrum. He may run if anyone approaches him.
Anyone with information on the boy was asked to contact the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Office at 765-423-9321.
