INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A mild morning with a few clouds. Look for lots of sunshine later today with warm and humid conditions yet again. It gets even warmer heading into the end of the week and this weekend.

TODAY: A quiet day but warm and humid. We will see lots of sunshine for the afternoon. There is a very slight chance we could see a spotty afternoon shower. Most locations I think will be dry through much of the afternoon and early evening hours. High temperatures climb close to the middle ’80s which is right around normal for this time of the year. Humidity values stay on the high side so it is going to be much more uncomfortable later this afternoon similar to what we had yesterday.

TONIGHT: It will be dry throughout the overnight hours tonight Look for partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will fall into the mid and upper 60s.

TOMORROW: Look for lots of sunshine on your Thursday but it is going to be a hot one. High temperatures climb into the mid and upper ’80s. Heat indices or feels like temperatures will likely be into the lower 90s. This dome of high pressure and heat in the upper levels of the atmosphere is going to move across the central part of the state and move back into Indiana.

7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: High heat continues for your Friday and Saturday as well. Look for partly cloudy skies on Friday with high temperatures into the upper 80s near 90. Heat indices will be into the mid-90s for your Friday and Saturday. Dry conditions continue to start off the weekend Look for partly cloudy skies with highs near 89 on Saturday. Similar conditions on Sunday should be dry heat and high humidity. Storm chances return for your Monday with highs into the upper ’80s.
