INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A bicyclist was hospitalized Wednesday morning after being injured in a hit-and-run on Indy’s west side.
Online police reports show Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of North Tibbs Avenue around 6 a.m. to investigate an accident with injuries.
That neighborhood is on the west side just north of 16th Street.
When they arrived, they found a male bicyclist with trauma injuries lying in the roadway. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition.
Police say they believe this is a hit-and-run crash involving at least one vehicle and the bicyclist.
IMPD has not released any suspect information.
