INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office Child Support Division will host a Family Support Resource Day Wednesday at The Craig Academy in Indianapolis.
The event is part of Child Support Awareness Month and aims to increase awareness of local services that can benefit Indianapolis families.
“By ensuring access to the many services available to families in Marion County, we can create a better, more equitable community,” said Prosecutor Ryan Mears in a release.
Attendees will be able to obtain information and assistance regarding child support, housing, legal services, firearm storage education, and more. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Craig Academy located at 6501 Sunnyside Rd.
The Family Support Resource Day is designed to be a one-stop shop to connect families with the assistance they need to improve their quality of life.
Wednesday, the prosecutor’s office will also host a backpack drive. It will be held from 5 – 6:30 p.m. 4141 N. High School Rd.
