BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — At Home, a retail chain specializing in home décor and furnishings, will close its Bloomington store, according to a news release from the company coordinating closings.
At Home filed for bankruptcy restructuring in mid-June.
The Bloomington store opened in 2019 in a former Kmart store in the Whitehall Plaza shopping center, located off West Third Street just east of the I-69 interchange.
The store was offering savings for customers looking to buy its remaining inventory, with all sales final. The sales were expected to continue to all merchandise, fixtures and store equipment are sold.
About two dozen of At Home stores are closing in the U.S. at part of the bankruptcy organization.
Remaining Indiana stores are on the north and south sides of Indianapolis, and in Avon, Fort Wayne, Lafayette and Noblesville.
