INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Low humidity for the day today but that increases for the rest of the week. It’s going to feel much more uncomfortable and warmer for later this week.
We had a wonderful weekend with temperatures into the upper ’70s and lower ’80s. Some areas started out into the ’50s on both mornings which is the coolest we’ve seen in quite some time. This ended the 52 day streak of lows above 60.
TODAY: A great start with some sunshine and low humidity. We will look for a spotty shower or thunderstorm especially south and west of Indianapolis during the day today. High temperatures will be climbing into the low ’80s which is a couple of degrees below normal for this time of year. Humidity values slowly rise later this afternoon. It won’t feel oppressive but slightly humid for the afternoon.
TONIGHT: An isolated shower could be possible later this evening under a partly to mostly cloudy sky. Lows will fall into the middle 60s.
TOMORROW: Partly cloudy skies on your Tuesday with seasonable temperatures. A spotty shower or thunderstorm could be possible later in the afternoon. High temperatures will climb right around 84 with light winds out of the east.
7 DAY EXTENDED FORECAST: Dry conditions continue for the mid and letter half of the work week. Will look for a mostly sunny sky Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Temperatures slowly rise from the mid-80s on Wednesday into the upper ’80s close to 90 by the end of the week. Humidity values also rise as well.
