INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 19-year-old fugitive wanted on multiple felony charges in Indiana was taken into custody Wednesday in North Carolina.
Marvin Jose Vasquez-Martinez, 19, a Honduran national unlawfully present in the U.S., was arrested by agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation Charlotte field office, Homeland Security Investigations Charlotte field office, U.S. Secret Service Charlotte field office, and the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
The arrest was made in connection with the FBI Indianapolis field office, which utilized technical surveillance methods to assist in locating Vasquez-Martinez.
Vasquez-Martinez was wanted in Hendricks County, Indiana, on felony charges of rape and child molestation. He fled the Brownsburg area in and around May 2025. His criminal history includes previous arrests for auto theft, resisting law enforcement, and possession of marijuana.
Vasquez-Martinez is being held in North Carolina pending extradition to Indiana.
