YORKTOWN, Ind. (WISH) — Interstate 69 southbound near Yorktown was closed for several hours Friday morning following a fatal crash.
The Yorktown Fire Department did not say what led up the crash, but say the highway is closed from exit 241 to exit 234. The left lane of I-69 northbound was also closed due to the accident.
All lanes reopened around 7:21 a.m., according to the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office.
It also wasn’t clear if anyone else was hurt.
News 8 reached out to Indiana State Police for further information, but have not yet received a response.
