CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Multiple people were shot at a “large party of young people,” the Clarksville Police Department said, at an apartment complex in Clark County.
The shooting happened May 31 at 1909 Greentree Way, near the Parkwood Elementary School, just before midnight in Clarksville, Indiana.
At the time, police said that “several shots were fired into a crowd with 5 being treated at local hospitals with gunshot wounds.”
Tuesday, Clarksville police said that three men were arrested for their involvement in the shooting. Police arrested Khyron Murphy-Grant, 21, Luke Elliott, 20, and Maleea Roland, 20.
Murphy-Grant and Elliott were both charged with aggravated battery–Murphy-Grant’s charges extending into battery resulting in serious injury–but Roland was only charged with maintaining a common nuisance.
