INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A 16-year-old boy was in critical condition after being shot Monday night at an apartment complex on the city’s north side, police said.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called to a report of a person shot shortly after 8:35 p.m. Monday to the 2200 block of Biscay Square, part of the Estates at Crystal Bay apartments. That’s southeast of the intersection of Michigan Road and West Lake Road.
Capt. Richard Ray with IMPD said no suspect was immediately known to investigators. He asked for any video of the shooting or witnesses to it to come forward to aggravated assault detectives.
A disturbance involving a group of people preceded the shooting, which was believed to be targeted.
